The florists of Kings Heath town centre are joining forces to make Mothers' Day a blooming treat for some lucky people.
Four florists: ‘Little A' in York Road, ‘Forget-Me-Not' in Silver Street, ‘Contrasts' in Poplar Road and ‘Shirley Ann Florists' also in Poplar Road are each donating a beautiful bouquet of flowers to give to four local mothers on Sunday 14 March.
The competition has been organised by the Kings Heath Town Centre manager Nikki Carr.
"It's really easy to take part - simply complete a prize draw card with details of why your mother should receive a fabulous bunch of flowers and post it in one of the entry boxes around Kings Heath," she says.
Prize boxes and draw cards are located in the following places and the closing date is midday on Saturday 13 March:
- ‘People', ‘Shirley Ann Florists'and ‘Contrasts' in Poplar Road
- ‘Chatterbox Boutique' and ‘Little A' in York Road
- ‘Johnstans Butchers' on the High Street
- ‘Forget-Me-Not' in Silver Street
Lucky winners will be notified directly and, if they live within a five mile radius, can even have their flowers delivered to their doorstep. A selection of some of the card's messages will be displayed within the shops for a few days after Mothers' Day for people to read.
