2nd Birthday Celebrations for Oakwood Farmer's Market

Despite the rain today, people turned out to help Oakwood Farmer's Market celebrate it's 2nd birthday. Earlier this year the Market was awarded the distinctive FARMA logo to identify it as a true farmers' market. The award is regarded as an assurance of quality and value as well as guaranteeing the market gives a fair deal to producers.
In addition to the usual stalls providing vegetables and fruits, herbs, fruit juices, breads, eggs, pickles, chocolates, meat, cheese, fish , soup and pies; today saw a guest stall by Katie Jane who specialises in delicious cupcakes - they almost looked too good to eat!.
Foxwood Steel Bandits provided the music which got everyone in the festive mood and there were balloons for the children as well as free face painting.
