Sheer Poetry on Bury Market

It was poetry in motion on Bury Market thanks to an enthusiastic group of pupils from St Andrew's CE Primary School in Ramsbottom.
Pupils and staff from St. Andrew's Primary School
in Ramsbottom entertain shoppers on Bury Market
They entertained shoppers and traders with a recital of poems that they had written themselves, following a fact-finding trip to the market several weeks ago.
Their poems expound the marvels of the market and mention freshly made fish and chips, tasty spuds and flower buds, and "stinky cheese, yellow and nobbly".
All the poems are displayed on the notice boards in Bury Market Hall.
