The annual Waltham Abbey Town Show will be held at Town Mead Park, Brooker Road, Waltham Abbey, Essex, EN9 1JH on Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th June from 11.30am to 4.30pm each day.
This year is set to be bigger and better with new circus attraction, plus return of fun fair, live music, stalls, classica vehicles, refreshments and entertainment. Unfortunately we have just heard that helicopter rides will not be available this year.
The free entry Town Show is a great local day out for all the family. There are four performances of the circus per day at an additional cost of £3.00 adults and £2.50 concessions, tickets can be purchased in advance from the Tourist Information Centre or on the day in Town Mead Park.
Fingers crossed we get the hot sunny weather we experienced at last year's event.
The big top circus tent will be holding a 60s theme night featuring the Abbey Rogues on the Saturday night from 7.00-12.00 with 60s dress code, licenced bar and hog roast supper available to purchase. Tickets are £8 each and available from the Tourist Information Centre.
Make sure you visit on Sunday to witness the Essex wide Olympic event Sparks Will Fly when Marina Mightier (giant champion being from a far away world who is visiting to collect a glass bead ready to compete in the Glass Bead Game) will lead a 300 dancer Make a Move procession and performance at 1.00-1.50pm.
