| Published: 5th July 2012 17:08 |
Sunday 15th July 2012, 10:30am - 4pm
Discover Milton Keynes's Roman archaeology through this rare opportunity to see finds on display that aren't usually available to the public.
Finds that will be on display include gold and silver rare coins, a forger's hoard of bronze coin making equipment and pottery including a burial pot from Bancroft Roman villa. These items are with us on loan from Buckinghamshire County Museum.
Drop in to see these special archaeological finds at Bradwell Abbey from 10:30am - 4pm.
NOW BOOKING: As part of the event, you can book your place on a guided walking tour of Bancroft Roman Villa, just a short walk from Bradwell Abbey. Places are limited for this part so booking is essential on 01908 227229 or email education@mkcdc.org.uk
There is a suggested donation of £2 for entry to the exhibition.
As an independent charity, every little helps. Milton Keynes City Discovery Centre is an educational charity based at Bradwell Abbey, aiming to increase the understanding of Milton Keynes' rich and diverse natural, built and historic environment.
