welcome to your AMAZing newsletter
covering Sandy, Biggleswade, Potton, Gamlingay, Langford and the surrounding villages

Welcome to this week's newsletter.

We would like to wish all of our customers & readers a Very Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year.  Many thanks for your support over the last year.

This will be our last newsletter of 2010 & will resume in January 2011.

Welcome to Café Kidz.   Café KIDZ is an air conditioned indoor soft play area designed specifically for under 7 year olds.  For the parents, grandparents or childminders we have a café serving a variety of cakes, muffins and snacks to accompany your freshly ground coffee.  We also offer a wide variety of choice on our deli counter for lunchtime options and remember kids eat FREE at Cafe KIDZ (when purchasing an adult sandwich).

Café KIDZ is also open on Christmas Eve.  Go and play on 24 December and wear them out for Christmas Eve.  They will have all their usual fun stuff, plus balloon modelling and face painting.  It's even been said that Santa plans to pop in throughout the day!  Don't forget to tell them where you heard about it!!!!

The snow & cold snap is on it's way again this weekend, so stock up on grit and don't forget to put those wellies and a blanket in the car if your going out - even a flask of hot coffee, just in case.

Do you have any pets?  Be sure that they have a healthy and stress-free Christmas, too.  See the poster sent to us by Theo Bredell of Coutts to check up on what is good and what is not for your pet (some are a tad obvious but others may surprise you).

Great new competition to win 2 tickets to see Narnia:  The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" in 3D at Bedford Cineworld (deadline is 23 December).  Also, still running is your chance to win a bottle of wine to have with your meal at The Salutation in Blunham (deadline is 20 December).

Pantomimes have started with "The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe" on in Northampton, "Robin Hood" on in Wellingborough, "Jack & the Beanstalk" in Peterborough and "Dick Whittington" in Milton Keynes, among many others  However, more that will be added as I hear about them ... so keep looking!

January Events are now on site but, in the meantime, here are a few that are taking place over the next few days:

Biggleswade & District Choral Society will be performing at St Andrew's Church, Biggleswade on 18 December and there is a Nativity Scenes Festival at St Mary's Church, Everton over the weekend.

There will be a Candlelight Concert at Upper Caldecote Methodist Church on 19 December and a Christmas Concert at St Mary's Church, Gamlingay on 22 December.

For more on these events and many others taking place over the next few weeks, check What's on in December and Christmas-Themed Events.

Although this is the last newsletter of the year, the sites are live and active 24/7 so do keep sending your information and checking on the latest news and events.

Have a fantastic Christmas and a brilliant New Year and all the very best for 2011 from everyone at AboutMyArea
