Bristol author’s second walking book goes on sale

BRISTOL author and keen walker Robin Tetlow’s latest book ‘Beyond Bristol Walks 2’ has gone on sale this month at Taunton Leisure’s Bristol store in Bedminster (September 2019).
Robin who is a regular visitor to Taunton Leisure – Bristol has copies of his book now stocked in-store for customers to peruse and purchase.
He explained: “I have had an interest in walking, travel and the natural environment all of my life. I grew up in the Midlands and lived elsewhere in the UK before moving to Bristol more than 30 years ago.”
In the process of getting-to-know the area down the years, Robin has completed more than 300 different walks and has now had his second book on the topic published.

The book includes detailed instructions for each walk featured, supplemented by a coloured OS map extract with the route clearly marked and is illustrated throughout with scenic photographs.
Robin added: “They are all serious walks; but should be within the capability of anyone who is reasonably fit.
“I would urge anyone considering taking up walking to give it ago. It is a healthy and relaxing pastime. Apart from the physical exercise, a countryside walk is an ideal way to escape the stresses of modern life, especially if you leave your phone switched off!”
