Bristol Concert Orchestra presents a fantasy adventure themed concert at St George's Bristol on Saturday 30 June at 7.30pm.
From highland-inspired violin wizardry with star violinist Alexandra Wood in Bruch's Scottish Fantasy, Nordic mystery courtesy of Sibelius with En Saga, to the sumptuous orchestration of Ravel's score for the Nymph-laden ballet Daphnis et Chloé, rounded off with a trip to Middle-earth and a suite of music from the epic blockbusting Lord of The Rings films.
There will be a retiring collection in aid of St Peter's Hospice.
Tickets: £13, £11, £9, £8 (concessions available) and children £1 are available from St George's Bristol: 0845 40 24 001 or via http://www.stgeorgesbristol.co.uk/events/bco-alexandra-wood/
