Nick appointed Director at Great Jobs UK

NICHOLAS Karanicola has this month (September 2019) been appointed as a Director for the leading national recruitment company Great Jobs UK Ltd based in Weston-Super-Mare.
Nick, who lives in Weston and previously worked in recruitment in Bristol, is now based at Great Jobs UK’s head office at Oldmixon Crescent.
He explained: “I am delighted with my new position and I am very much looking forward to helping the team build the business. It’s also great now to have a job on my doorstep in Weston as I can now save on commuting time and valuable earth resources, something the team at Great Jobs UK is passionate about.”
Great Jobs UK works specifically within the hospitality, technology and nursing sectors and helps clients and candidates find the perfect match.
Nick added: “I have a sales background in recruitment, specifically IT, having worked for a specialist firm in this industry. Prior to this, I was an investment manager for a bespoke investment firm in Bristol
“Previously I was also a personal trainer for four years. In this role I learnt a lot about the fitness industry and health and leisure. I really excelled and enjoyed my work within this sector and gained some great interpersonal skills and contacts. However, I wanted to further my career in another industry, so I became an investment manager, again very successfully and also creating some wonderful connections on the way.
“But I have always been keen to try new challenges and my experiences in these two professions led me to go on to work in recruitment, and I have now progressed in this field to become a Director at Great Jobs UK. All three professions have given me all the necessary skills I need to ensure I am adept at explaining the role that Great Jobs UK plays in recruiting strong candidates to join our clients’ teams. I am also highly skilled with both face-to-face and telephone communication.”
