Stony Stratford Art Society has been in existence for many years and provides an opportunity for amateur artists to be creative together in a friendly environment.
Meetings are held at York House, London Road, Stony Stratford, regularly throughout the year, except for December and January. Our meetings alternate week and week about so that one week we meet on Tuesday afternoons from 1400 to 1600. The following week we meet on Wednesday from 1900 to 2100.
We aim to hold two main exhibitions each year in Stony Stratford and participate in a number of other events which provides an opportunity for members not only to display their work but also to sell items.
With a current membership of around 50 our weekly meetings often have up to twenty attendees. So whether you're an experienced artist, or crafter, or a beginner (like many of us), or simply new to the area, and you're looking for a friendly group to join where you can get critical comment, and more importantly support and advice we'd like to meet you. Further information available from the Secretary, Brian Marshall (Tel: 01908-378454).
