Over 30 businesses were welcomed into one of the giant Scandinavian tipis to sample food and drink from local vendors The Calzone Kitchen, The Rub BBQ and Pro Cocktails, who will be serving up the festive feast at the Christmas parties.
Guests experienced just a teaser of what is to come, and over the 20 nights of parties will be transported into a Nordic tipi wonderland transformed by handpicked local suppliers with open fires, cosy fur throws and festive fairy lights. There will be free access to the campervan photobooth to capture the office party antics, gin and fizz bars and a live request band to decide on the playlist to dance the night away.
Louise Salmon, Event Planner and Founder of Scandinavia comments: "We are thrilled at how many people were able to join us for the launch of Scandinavia. The night was full of enjoyment with guests sampling the entertainment, food and drink."
Salmon continues: "Our venue offers something completely new to the Christmas party scene in the town. Expect a fun, festive wonderland with 2hrs bottomless artisan food, a welcome drink and the chance to be a mixologist by shaking your own cocktail or mocktail at the table. You'll be kicking off Christmas in style!"
For Christmas gatherings with a difference, Scandinavia is open Wednesday to Saturday for exclusive hires of up to 300 people and has also opened several nights to smaller groups.
Standard tickets cost from £55.99 and are available to book now, with bespoke packages and bolt ons available too.
