Swan on the River in Littleport offers rooms to business and leisure travellers

The Swan on the River is now pleased to be able offer business and leisure travellers five en-suite ground floor rooms newly constructed and furnished to a high standard.

The accommodation of five river view rooms, all en-suite and positioned away from the hurly burly of the main pub for a tranquil nights rest. The view out over the river Great Ouse. Watch the boats, the anglers and the wonderful river wildlife. You can walk out behind us along the bank.

All rooms have river views of the Great Ouse and a private decking area
They all have king size beds.

  • Room 1 has an accessible bathroom
  • Room 4 can be used as a family room (with a double sofa bed)
  • Room 5 can be used as a twin room

All rooms are equipped with a TV, desk, USB charge points, tea and coffee making facilities and have access to free wi-fi.

Breakfast is served from 7:00 am to 10:00 am Monday to Friday and 8:00am to 11::00 am on Sunday. We use locally sourced ingredients including award winning Musk's sausages from Newmarket and free-range eggs.
Rates (inclusive of breakfast).

  • Double occupancy from £85

Littleport is a large Fenland village situated mid way between Cambridge and Kings Lynn and 5 miles from Ely.
For the business traveller, there is easy access to Cambridge, Kings Lynn and Ely by both rail and road.

(Littleport has a direct train service to all three locations and London). The new station at Cambridge North gives easy access to Cambridge Science Park.

For the leisure traveller Littleport is an excellent location to explore historic Cambridge, Ely, Kings Lynn and Bury St Edmunds.

Enjoy the wildlife at Welney Wildfowl Wetland Centre and Wicken Fen, take trips to the Norfolk Coast and Thetford Forest or enjoy the racing at Newmarket. There are a number of National Trust properties within easy reach including Anglesey Abbey, Peckover House and Garden (in the beautifully preserved Georgian town of Wisbech) and Oxburgh Hall.

For anglers the Great Ouse offers excellent fishing.
