GSD Rescue need your Help

GSD Rescue are in desperate need of loving homes for these german shepherds....can you help?

GSD Rescue's purpose is for finding loving homes for the dogs that have come into GSD rescue through no fault of their own.If you own a German Shepherd or are looking to home a German Shepherd we  would love you to join us.

MERLIN & KANE   

Merlin (5 years) & Kane (4 years) are hoping to be homed together as they have always lived together as a pack of three German Shepherds but their owners have decided to keep Sabre as at 15 years old he is too old to rehome now and it wouldn't be fair on him.   Merlin & Kane are used to being walked on and off lead and although they do not live with children they are apparently very friendly with the children in the area ... Kane loves cuddles ..lots of cuddles ... they enjoy playing ball. Both are very friendly dogs that just need someone to love them both. ARCHIE     

Archie came to us on New years Eve from the pound ... he is around a year old ... he is a very friendly boy loves hugs and cuddles and adores all doggy toys and a good bone to chew ... Archie needs to be with you all of the time ... by your feet or beside your bed as long as he is with you he doesn't care.   Archie has now been vaccinated and neutered, wormed and is putting on weight nicely as he was only 22 kilos when he came to us. Luke came to us a few days before Christmas like Archie and many of the others we saved him from being put to sleep at the pound.  Luke is around 14 months old we think and he is a European Shepherd . His picture does not do him justice he is a lovely boy and I think he will be quite a big dog when he has finished growing as he is quite tall and solid muscle now. Luke has now been vaccinated and neutered, wormed and is putting on weight nicely as he was only 23 kilos when he came to us. Luke enjoys a good romp with a ball and loves you to play with him...he loves all doggy toys and a good bone to chew but a ball is his favourite ... Luke is a real cuddle bug ..loves his cuddles maybe even more than Archie ... he is good with other dogs. DIESEL    

Diesel is a little sweetheart .... he is only about a year old and had been a yard dog chained up we think ... he also came from the pound... I have done a lot of work with this boy since he has been with me as he couldn't live indoors ... whilst in rehab he was in a conservatory but that is as far as he could be indoors without going into a real panic.  I brought him down to live with me so that I could work on this problem and the fact that he supposedly wasn't sociable with people or other dogs. ... I have had Diesel with me since February and he is the most lovable little character you could ever wish to meet with people and with all the other dogs here.   We have worked together and have bonded ... I don't think he is full GSD I think there is a little bit of Samoyed in there too but he is so lovable so we don't care about that. It will break my heart when I have to let him go.   Diesel has now been vaccinated and neutered, wormed and is also putting on weight nicely now he was only around 20 kilos when he came to us. This is what Tara looked like when she came to us .... she was a third of her body weight ..... she was only 3 inches across her back ,, she had sarcoptic mange  and kennel cough with a secondary infection of pneumonia, she was coughing out blood through her nose and her mouth .. we have spent around £400+ getting this little lady right but she is looking good now ... she weighs in at around 36 kilos ..her coat is really shiny and she is in good health now.   Tara came to us on New years eve from the pound .... we were told she was 2 years old but our vet thinks 3 or 4 years by her teeth ... she is now the most loving girl you could ever wish to meet and follows me around everywhere ... she seems to know and is truly thankful for all that we have done for her bless her. She is not into toys much she enjoys a good bone and home comforts but mostly she just wants a human to cuddle up too.   Tara has now been vaccinated, wormed but we have not had her spayed as she was too ill to do so before and she has now just finished her season too.  Great with other dogs but she needs lead training... she can pull.   For more details on Tara please contact our rescue line on 01733-768155.   Two more pics of Tara:- These were taken some time back she is a good healthy weight now.  

GYPSY    

Gypsy or Pippi as I call her most of the time is around 17 months old .... she came to us as her owners had lost their home... sweet girl, loves toys, bones and enjoys her walks ... another one that just wants to be beside you all the time and have loves and cuddles. Gypsy was very bouncy and had no manners when she came to us but she is now a calm and well mannered lassie.    Gypsy has been spayed and vaccinated, micro chipped and wormed.   For more details on Gypsy please contact our rescue line on 01733-768155.
