Complimentary workshop for leaders and managers on team well-being

Published: 4th November 2020 11:26

LEADERS and managers concerned for their team’s well-being after the recent national lockdown announcement can sign up to complimentary workshops being run by a leading UK learning and development consultancy (November 2020).

Adaptis Limited is hosting two free workshops titled ‘Compassionate Conversations’ on November 17 and 25 covering the importance of social support in developing resilience, empathetic listening and using the coaching approach.

Charlotte Burton-Barker, Behavioural Consultant at Adaptis, which is based at Albert Embankment in Vauxhall, London, said: “Following the localised action across the UK and the Government’s latest announcement, we are aware that the challenges to everyone’s mental health and resilience caused by the pandemic will once again be at the forefront of our minds.

“We know that leaders and managers will be acutely aware of the well-being of their team members and colleagues in the next few weeks and months, so we have put together these complimentary workshops to offer some helpful advice and guidance.”

The ‘Compassionate Conversations’ workshops will take place on Tuesday November 17 from 11.30am until 12.15pm Wednesday November 25 from 2pm until 2.45pm.

Places are limited, so people should book in as soon as possible by emailing georgia.spiteri@adaptis.co.uk.

Charlotte has a Masters degree in Occupational Psychology and uses knowledge of the human behavioural change process, to inform the design and delivery of development programmes and workshops at the company.

Adaptis turns the latest thinking in behavioural psychology into practical solutions that deliver real observable behavioural changes and results within businesses.

The company includes consultants, coaches and facilitators from two distinct backgrounds: psychology and leadership.

Some of the team are educated to Masters level, with experience practising in a clinical psychology setting. While others come from leadership positions in a range of public and private sector organisations.

The complimentary ‘Compassionate Conversations’ workshops will take place on Tuesday November 17 from 11.30am until 12.15pm Wednesday November 25 from 2pm until 2.45pm and people can sign up by emailing georgia.spiteri@adaptis.co.uk. There is no charge for these sessions.
