Following a detailed consultation process the school admission arrangements and school holiday/term dates for the 2010/11 academic year in Stockport have now been set.
People wishing to view the admission arrangements should visit www.stockport.gov.uk/schooladmissions, plus copies are also available to view at individual schools.
People wanting to view the school holiday/term dates for the 2010/11 academic year should visit
www.stockport.gov.uk/education and click onto the schools and colleges link.
Parents wishing to object to admission arrangements can access more information by visiting www.dcsf.gov.uk/sacode
Andrew Webb, Corporate Director for Children and Young People's Directorate, said: "I would like to take the opportunity to thank everybody who contributed to the thorough consultation process for admission arrangements and the school holiday/term dates for the 2010/11 academic year."
