Little Actors Theatre Club - Christmas Show 2009
Published: 14th December 2009 13:11 |
On Saturday 12th December Neston Town Hall played host to the children of Little Actors Theatre Club.
The show opened with the younger children aged 4-6 acting out the story of the ‘Little Christmas Tree'. The little fir tree is always sad when the new toys leave Santa's workshop and go to their new homes. But one Christmas Eve the old toys travel back to her and she is so happy to see them again.
This was followed by the 8-11s group who performed ‘Toys Alive' a play devised by themselves. One Christmas Eve the new toys explored their new home and defeated the dastardly efforts of Terror Ted to blow up the Christmas tree to smithereens - with the fairy on top!!
Both groups demonstrated their dance skills and sang some festive songs. We also saw Jamie Nicol on piano and Jonathan Stevens on trombone playing ‘Jingle Bells'. The children excelled themselves and truly set up the Christmas spirit for 2009.
Directors Samantha Giblin and Natasha Symms were very proud of the children's hard work and achievements.
