Elephant Bank is restaurant and bar, located in a lovingly restored old NatWest Bank in Neston, on the Wirral.
It was the third addition to the Elephant Collective back in December 2016. Our passion for great food and drink in a relaxed setting has always driven us to want to open our own restaurant, and our love for Italian culture, food and surroundings is what made the doors of Elephant Bank open.
It has since been recognised by the prestigious PAPA Association with a Gold Award for "The Best Independent Pizzeria in the UK"
We use a mixture of completely authentic Italian ingredients and local produce to create our Menu. We have options to cater for vegans and vegetarians and are also able to make all of our pastas and pizzas Gluten Free with other options also available.
Choose from Roast Topside, Chicken or Nut Roast, all served with perfect roast potatoes, a nice big yorkshire pudding, smashed carrot & turnip, seasonal greens and lovely gravy.
Using the same formula that made Elephant Lounge & Bar so successful, we serve our delicious award winning coffee alongside a huge range of wines, coffees, cocktails, gins and beers and even have a huge selection of soft drinks and Mocktails for the designated drivers, non-drinkers and little elephants.

Kri Kri is located in the former Coach and Horses building in Bridge Street. The interior has been beautifully decorated and furnished, it also includes an area that can be partioned off for private parties: Birthdays, Weddings, Christenings and other special occasions can be catered for.
Kri Kri is open from 4pm to 11pm (last orders), 7 days a week, is fully licensed and also offers a take-away service. There is a comfortable and welcoming waiting area just inside and a large free car park immediately behind the restaurant.
The kitchen is presided over by Andreas, alongside a highly experienced chef brought over from Kos.
On offer are all manner of Greek delights, including:
- Starters: Tzatziki, Taramasalata, Houmous, Melitzanosalata, Dolmades, Kalamari, Spanakopitakia, Keftedes and Mini Meze;
- Mains: Mousaka, Stifado, Kleftiko, Afelia, Souvlaki, Briami and a variety of fish dishes and steaks;
- Desserts: Baklava, Galaktoboureko, Kadaifi, Chocolate Fudge Cake and Homemade Apple Pie.

Kri Kri features a full-size 'indoor barbecue' to ensure an authentic, charcoal-grilled finish to several of the traditional dishes and specials served here.
Children are welcomed and can eat the same as the grown-ups or choose from the Kri Kri Kids menu. Vegetarians will find plenty to tempt them and if you have any other special dietary requests, Andreas and Rachael will do their very best to accomodate you.
The fully stocked bar offers an extensive wine list and range of bottled beers, including several Greek options.
There is a full take-away service available with a 10% discount on eat-in prices.

There is a wide range of choice, with hot and cold starters and mains, including interesting seafood and some traditional steaks. The Greek dishes all have a clear explanation beneath the original Greek names. It's a long while since I've seen such a variety of dishes and portions.
Andreas knows how to cook dishes with sublime tastes. My creamy pork and celery was delectable.
There is also a take-away service with a 10% discount.
I thoroughly recommend this exciting eating experience.
28 years ago Paul and Ann McDonagh visited a restaurant in York called The Blue Bicycle. They loved it and discovered its name was taken from a novel by the French author Régine Deforges.
They decided that if they were ever fortunate enough to own their own place they too would use the name. Now, here we are, all these years later, with the entire family involved in their new venture.
Chef (and Dad) Paul has decades of experience as a head chef and has always wanted to open his own place. His wife Ann will be taking care of business admin, whilst daughter Sophie looks after front of house and son Daniel, an IT technician, oversees their website. Both Sophie and Daniel are former pupils at Neston High and Sophie will be a familiar face to many, having worked at other local restaurants including Elephant.

The family have put their own stamp on the eatery, which is open seven days a week (see opening hours below), for breakfast, brunch, light lunches and drinks. Fully licenced, the venue, including a large upstairs lounge and an outdoor covered and heated courtyard, may also be used for private parties and occasional events in future - get in touch via email if you're interested in booking it.
