We are a group of residents and others who seek to preserve and, where appropriate, sympathetically improve our surroundings, so that locals and visitors can continue to enjoy the unique character of Parkgate.
We improve our surroundings by:
- Planting
- Buying litter bins
- Providing seats
- Supporting our heritage
We encourage interest in our community by:
- Inviting interesting speakers to our monthly meetings (September to May)
- Researching the history of Parkgate
- Publishing guide books
- Issuing twice-yearly newsletters
We work for the future by:
- Keeping in touch with Councillors and Council officers
- Putting our members' views to the Council
- Commenting on local planning applications
Parkgate Society meetings take place normally take place on the third Monday of the month, from September to May, at The Neston Club, Station Road, Parkgate, at 8pm unless otherwise indicated below.
