Bracken, Matthew (Labour)
Tired of Cuts and Austerity?
Allow me to introduce myself, I am Matthew Bracken the Labour Party candidate in the upcoming council elections.
I am a hardworking individual, and I will work tirelessly on behalf of the electorate of Willaston & Thornton
There are many issues that I would like to tackle on your behalf, but my priorities are to:-
• Identify and prosecute Fly-Tippers.
• Ensure timely repairs to badly damaged roads and pavements.
• Protect local green spaces.
As we all know the council has been hit hard by government cuts, but despite this, I promise to work hard on your behalf to resolve the issues that are important to you, and I guarantee that you will see me regularly around and about the area. I will also work with the other Labour Councillors in the borough to deliver the promises in the Cheshire West and Chester Labour Party manifesto.
If you have any issues or would like to see improvements in the area, then why not get in touch by email email@example.com or give me a call on 07546 116411 and I would be delighted to take them up on your behalf if elected.
So, if you are tired of cuts and Austerity then I implore you to get out and vote for Matthew Bracken on 2nd May. I will not let you down!
Hogg, Myles (Conservative)
I have had the honour to represent the Willaston & Thornton Ward since 1996.
I live in the Ward with my wife Marilyn. We have 3 grown up children.
I am a Chartered Accountant by profession and I am a member of many local societies and organisation.
Previously I have served as Mayor of Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough and as The Sheriff of Chester.
I make myself readily available to all residents who wish to contact me about any local government matter and hold regular surgeries throughout the year.
I am passionate about maintaining our precious green belt and improving the current sorry state of many of our roads and pavements.
My other priorities include ensuring we all receive value for money from our Council Taxes and reducing the speed of traffic on many of our roads.
In addition, our environment requires our protection by keeping it litter free, reducing pollution, improving our many public pathways and protecting our wild life.
My main purpose in seeking re-election on Thursday, 2nd May is to allow me the privilege of continuing to serve you as your Borough Councillor for another 4 years.
