Willaston children have an afternoon to remember

On the afternoon of Saturday 7th November the Willaston Memorial Hall held a Children's Party which was attended by 88 children from 50+ different households and a fun time was had by all.
Not only did we have vanishing rabbits, balloon animals and cartoons galore but we also saw many of the children's faces transformed by two excellent face-painters. Children also made amazing creations out of beads and many took advantage of the opportunity to burn off some energy by dancing.
The underlying purpose of the event was to show those attending what a wonderful resource they have within the village and to encourage parents to hire the Hall for children's parties and other events.
I really appreciate all those that supported the event as we must never forget that our children are the future of the community. I would also like to thank again all the artists who gave their services free of charge and who provided entertainment throughout the afternoon to help make the event such a success:
- David Fall - Magical Entertainer
01407 760418 - Paul Wilcox - Cartoon Creations
01244 819334 - Mel & Megan - beadybeady
0151 639 1505 - Lisa Muir - Fancy Fizzogs
07986 222517 - Suzanne - Jackpots
0151 637 0199
and to Alan and the staff of Pollard's Inn for providing such an excellent array of party food - 0151 327 4615.
The one act who did not turn up on the day and have yet to apologise for their non-appearance was Magic Moments Parties of Wallasey.
Should anyone be interested in booking the Hall for a children's party or any other event please contact Liz Young, Booking Secretary, on 0151 512 0742 and kindly mention where you saw Liz's name so that we can monitor how our marketing is working.
