The Friends of Stanney Fields Park once again organised a great day out for families in Neston on August 13th.
It was a fun filled afternoon at Stanney Fields Play Day on Saturday afternoon. The weather held so that families could enjoy the many activities on offer.
Top attractions were the climbing wall, steam engine rides, face painting and the fabulous Magical Circus. Many people tried their hand at juggling and stilt walking. There were also lots of craft activities available as well as a coconut shy, raffle and free bike safety check with Dr Bike.
The event was organised by the hard working Friends of Stanney Fields in conjunction with Cheshire West and Chester Council. Many of the activities were provided by local organisations such as Community Activities in Neston (CAN), Cheshire Police, Hip and Harmony, Friends of Neston Library and the Countryside Rangers.
