Cadets and Staff of 2375 (Neston) Squadron were rewarded for all their hard work within the community this year, by the presenting of The Charles Whitcomb Trophy.
Wing Commander Keane, Officer Commanding Merseyside Wing presented the trophy to Flight Lieutenant Paul Thelwell. This is a regional trophy and the squadron beat squadrons from the Wales and West Region of the country to gain this prestigious trophy.
Cadets and Staff have taken part in numerous events over the past 12 months, some of which include marshalling at the Cross-Country Championships in Liverpool, collecting on behalf of the Britist Legion (Poppy Appeal), The Royal Air Force Association (Wings Appeal), and the Neston Rotary Club. Others include taking part in the Annual Santa Dash in Liverpool and helping at the Riding for Disabled, Neston.
They continue their hard work year-in, year-out, and are to be congratulated on their hard work by the receiving of this trophy. Well done.
