Pupils in Year 2 at Neston Primary School enjoyed a fantastic week of 'out of this world' learning recently.
The Burton Road, pupils enjoyed the opportunity to learn about Neil Armstrong and the Apollo 11 moon landing.
During the week the children created work on the topic in literacy, numeracy, computing, art and DT. The children made moon biscuits, built moon buggies, wrote alien descriptions, tested vehicles they had made and presented their work using iPads and Power Point.
At the end of the week the children dressed up as astronauts and aliens as they shared their superb work with their parents and relatives.
Year 2 teacher Mrs Margie Robinson said: "We all have big smiles on our faces, what a fantastic week it's been!"
Comments from parents included: "Great afternoon so interesting to see all the great - and fun - work" and "Thank you for inviting us in to see the brilliant work you have all been doing, it was lots of fun."
