Unique Presents are on the Cards as Neston Gift Shop Relaunches

Published: 10th November 2016 12:40

One of Neston's most beloved independent businesses has had something of a make-over, bringing with it an impressive enhancement to the range of goods on offer.

My Gift Place, NestonBeautifully wrapped and unique gifts are available at My Gift Place

My Gift Place is the new name for the family-run shop that was formerly known as Temptations.  Joining Margaret and David Ince in the business is their son, also David.  They've invested in a new shop front and, alongside their ever popular range of cards, gifts and party items, they now have a few more tricks up their sleeves.

My Gift Place, NestonThe shopfront has had a make-over.

Make it your own

They have introduced a new personalised gift service from Creation Express, for which they have the exclusive rights in South Wirral.  You can now pop in to the shop and use a touchscreen interface to choose your own personalised gifts.  There is a huge variety of templates to work with, offering you different options such as your own text, photos, colours and fonts.  You can produce mugs, 'phone covers, cushions and lots more.  Photos can be uploaded from your phone or pull them in from social media accounts such as Facebook and Instagram.

Once you've completed the design process, the item is then created for you, in the shop, while you wait.  A mug, with your own photo and text on it, can be produced in around 6 minutes - that certainly beats all the risk and expense of ordering online to get gifts in time for Christmas.

My Gift Place, NestonYou can create personalised gifts using the interactive screen in-store.

Even more lovely gifts for all occasions

With their focus very much on quality, alongside the already impressive range of occasion gifts their customers know and love, My Gift Place is now stocking beautifully fragranced Heart & Home candles (soya-based, which means the burn is cleaner and they're more environmentally friendly than other leading brands); di palomo fragrance and cosmetics (usually only stocked in department stores); vintage-look tins, interesting, quirky candle holders and even some 'Neston Town Fayre' edibles such as fudge and biscuits.

Don't just take our word for it, go and have a look for yourself - you won't be disappointed.

My Gift Place is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm. You can call them on 0151 336 7400 or email info@mygiftplace.com. They also have a Facebook page you can follow, here, and will be launching a brand new website soon.

I shall be going to have a look and hopefully find some Christmas
Pressies.
Let's hope lots of folk support this family business how lovely it looks.
We all need to support our local shops especially at Christmas time. How much easier is this than dragging ourselves to Chester or Birkenhead etc.

What an ugly shop front...how on earth did the council allow that!

Well that's a matter of opinion - I really like it. It's fresh and eye-catching. Good for them investing in brightening up our town centre.

I must agree with Joey's mum on one thing.... "It is certainly eye catching " but then again so is the Shand!

I popped in the other day and bought some cards and a couple of gifts. I really appreciated the good service and the excellent range to choose from. I think the issue of the shopfront is entirely subjective and there will always be differing tastes. Personally I like it.

Each to there own when it comes to decorate taste, but personally I like it! We are quite lucky to have 3 nice gift shops to choose from in Neston- My Gift Place, plus Caousel and TIG. I frequent them all and all provide a good service.

Razer - would you by any chance have some connection to Carousel ? And just to be fair, MyGiftPlace has also served Neston for many many years - it was called Temptation previously and is still run by the same family. I fully agree with Mandy, use all the local gift shops as they ALL have unique gifts and "fresh ideas"

Personally the new look of MyGiftPlace reminds me a bit of the work Deebris does in upcycling old & reclaimed wood. A few businesses in Parkgate have adopted similar wood-cladding. Its very much an "in look" at the moment so perfectly placed in our high street.

Comparing it to Shand ? Seriously ?

My mother in law bought 2 Christmas baubles each with a photo and name of my children, they are lovely and take pride of place on my tree.
