Cask Ale Heaven at The Brewers Arms - Neston's Only Free House Pub

Landlord of the Brewers Arms in Neston, Paul Smith, has recently acquired the Free House lease to the pub, allowing him to stock a range of drinks that is sure to please everyone.

Paul is particularly keen to expand the range of cask ales on offer, working closely with smaller breweries such as Holts of Manchester. He anticipates around 5 or 6 ales being available regularly, alongside a renewed range of lagers and bottled beers.

Prices are keen, too, with bottle beers at two for £5, Crystal Lager (4.5abv) at £3.20 a pint and Holts Smooth (3.8abv) at £2.95. There's a loyalty card for real ale drinkers, with a pint free once you've collected 6 stamps.

There's good news for wine drinkers too, as a brand new wine list is being introduced, offering an enticing range of grape varieties by the glass and bottle.

The pub itself has undergone an extended period of refurbishment. The relaxing beer garden is beautifully stocked with plants and lit by fairy lights, creating an attractive, ambient space in which to relax.

Inside, in colder weather, the welcoming real fire will keep you toasty as you sit, surrounded by candlelight, to chat with friends, at tables that have all recently been refurbished.

Lunches are served throughout the week at the Brewers Arms, fine, fresh, home-cooked food, including their always popular Sunday Lunch. Meals are served from 12 to 2.30pm Monday to Saturday and from 12 to 3pm on Sundays. Look out for a new menu, coming soon.

Other attractions include a FREE pool table - yes, free, 7 days a week. You can also pick your own tunes on the Jukebox for free at weekends.

Don't forget Open Mic Night - always very popular, it runs on the second Wednesday of every month, from 8pm. Turn up and play, or just come along and enjoy an eclectic mix of musical entertainment.
