Year 6 pupils at Neston Primary School recently took part in their week long residential trip to Conway in North Wales.
Children had the opportunity to take part in the night-line, zip-wire, canoeing, rock climbing, abseiling, raft racing, the low rope course and the high-ropes course.
The weather was changeable and pupils woke on Wednesday morning to be greeted by snow. However this didn't squash their enthusiasm and the day was spent on the Menai Straits and abseiling.
One of the highlights (quite literally) was the high ropes course when several children completed the ‘Cat Walk', which is 45ft off the ground. One of the pupils commented "It was brilliant! It was so high and I was so proud of myself. It took some courage to step off and trust my friends to lower me to the ground."
