Neston Pupils Pull Their Socks Up For Charity
Published: 22nd March 2018 09:38 |
Pupils and staff at Neston Primary School wore odd (and some crazy) socks to show their support for World Down Syndrome Day recently.
Gingerbread socks were on sale and £263.50 was raised for Cheshire Down Syndrome Support Group - a volunteer run group that works at unlocking children's potential through early support, family events, training and education.
Headteacher Rob Golding said: "It was a very colourful and successful day. The children also brought spare change to donate to this very worthwhile local charity."
