Neston is commemorating the 1918 Armistice through a number of events in the area.

Burton & Neston History Society WWI Exhibition at Neston Library
Tuesday 6th November
Dedication of WWI Commemorative Bench on Little Neston Green - gathering at 2pm.
Wed 7th November
Neston Rural Theatre presents:
"Never Such Innocence", 7.30pm at the British Legion
Wednesday 7th - Saturday 10th November
Neston Players present: "Goodnight Mr Tom" and also feature their exhibition of previous WWI productions. Neston Civic Hall, 7.30pm evenings, 2pm Saturday Matinee.
Friday 9th - Sunday 11th November
Willaston WW1 Commemoration Weekend
Friday 9th November
Illustrated Lecture - 'The Home Front in Cheshire & Wirral' at Neston Library, 5.30pm
Port Sunlight Lyceum Band present music of the time: "Centenary Brass", 7.30pm at the Town Hall
Saturday 10th November
Little Actors present 2 short plays: "Penny & Franc" (the war seen through the eyes of children) and"Tommy - a Tale from the Trenches" (a soldier's view), 3pm in their theatre space by the Brook St car park.
Neston British Legion are holding their Annual Poppy Dance with Music from Northern Rhythm Band, 7.30pm
Sunday 11th REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY
10.40am Annual Parade in Willaston
10:45 am Holy Communion at St Mary & St Helen Parish Church including at 11am The Remembrance Service at the War Memorial
2.30pm The Annual British Legion Remembrance Parade followed by a special service in the Parish Church
Also look out for the "There but Not There Tommy"
that will be popping up at churches around Neston and local areas
