Cllr Louise Gittins reports on more green-fingered activities in the Neston area.
More bulb planting has taken place in Little Neston. This week, Year 3 at Woodfall Primary School helped the Council's Street Care team and myself plant bulbs in the grass verges out side the school.
The children helped out enthusiastically and are excited about looking for green shoots in the new year. They're hoping this will not only look beautiful in the spring but stop people parking on the grass verges.
Earlier this year, children at Woodfall wrote a parking charter, asking their parents to take care when dropping them off at school; not to park on double yellow lines or across peoples drive ways; to park carefully and not to keep the engines running or exceed the 20mph limit.
In the next half term I'll be out with the team to check that this is happening.
