New Pink Poo Campaign Launches in Little Neston

Councillor Louise Gittins is launching a new pink poo campaign, following last year's successful efforts by volunteers.

There will be a team covering Woodfall Lane, Victoria Road, Badger Bait, Mellock Lane, Newtown, Flag Lane, Midlands Ave and Landseer Ave.

Offending dollops will be sprayed pink each Monday or Tuesday for the next four weeks, with Cheshire West and Chester Council's Street Care team picking it up each week.

Louise has some spare cans of spray if anyone would like to hit a bad spot anywhere else in the Little Neston area. Please contact her by email if you would like to help.

In addition, following a suggestion from a resident in Greenfields Drive, Village News in Town Lane will be giving out Pink Poo campaign bags, to make it even easier for dog owners to pick up after their pets.

Allans meadow has some persistent offenders , please come and spray there.

I have two dogs and always pick up, its disgusting that others are too lazy to do it and have no consideration for others.

Try heading down the estuary at Little Neston for some spraying, although I don't think there is enough pink spray in the North West to accommodate the amount of dog poo down there. Every other step you are dodging dog poo.

And as for out in the estuary, well if its out of sight it is out of mind isn't it people?

The estuary is a Ramsar, SSSI, SPA, SAC and now also a PLFD (Public lavatory for dogs).
