He was met there by Justin Madders MP and Cheshire West and Chester Councillors Louise Gittins (Little Neston & Burton) and Martin Barker (Parkgate), who were also talking to residents about their concerns, ranging from fly-tipping to speeding.

David said how pleased he was to have the opportunity to meet local people and hear their views on policing in the area.  AboutMyArea will be chatting further with David in April, when he visits the Ness Neighbours' Coffee Morning on the first Tuesday of the month.

If anyone has any questions they would like us to put to David then, please contact us by email.

The position of PCC is a level of expenditure we could well do without especially this one who brought 74 spurious accusations against our Chief Constable none of which were substantiated in court and ruining the CC's last two years in post at a cost to CT payers of £350,000 and he now asks us for more money for policing.
When she was Home Secretary Mrs.May forced PCC's on to us even though the Chairmen of the Police Committees were doing a perfectly good job.We should rid ourselves of PCC's and use the money on our police force.

To add insult to injury, the PCC has increased my CT from 7.3% to a whopping 13.6% which means that my overall CT increase has gone up from 5.1% to 5.8%.
