Life Saving Launch for Thornton Hough
Published: 25th March 2019 09:43 |
Thornton Hough Women's Institute recently installed a life saving defibrillator at their Neston Road WI Hall, for use by the community.
This was made possible thanks to a generous donation from the family of former treasurer and much-loved member of Thornton Hough Women's Institute, Mrs Betty Gault.

A successful bid to the British Heart Foundation, contributions from Thornton Hough WI and Thornton Hough Village Community Trust completed the purchase and installation.
The well attended launch celebration included the Gault family and Paramedic Officer Nick Blair representing the North West Ambulance Service. WI President Janet Gaywood thanked everyone who contributed and worked so hard to realise this important asset for the use of the whole village community: residents, sportsmen and women who use the Green, walkers and anyone in need.
CPR training is to be held at Thornton Hough Women's Institute Hall and dates will be widely advertised.
