2020's Remembrance Sunday service and parade in Willaston takes place on Sunday 8th November.

This year the Annual Remembrance Sunday parade and Act of Remembrance at Christ Church, Willaston marks the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II.
Led by Willaston-in-Wirral's Royal British Legion standard, over 100 children and their leaders from Willaston's Girlguiding and Scout Association will set off from 1st Willaston Scout Group HQ in Elm Road at 10.40am to parade to Willaston War Memorial in front of Christ Church for wreath laying and the Act of Remembrance, followed by the Remembrance Service in Christ Church.
Following the service the parade will reform on Neston Road to proceed to Willaston Memorial Hall where a Hall Trustee will hang a wreath, with the return parade ending at the Scout HQ on Elm Road.
