Let's talk turkey - but not just any turkey. 2019 marks Sally Lee's 40th anniversary in the turkey business, so she knows of what she speaks!
A summer job at a turkey breeding company in Cheshire led to a lifetime love of working with poultry and animals for Sally. In 1979 she reared 50 of her very own turkeys for a local butcher to sell at Christmas. As the business grew, Sally spent many years working with like-minded farmers around the UK, the breeding and hatching side of the business was sold in 2012. Sally now focuses entirely on producing a small number of very special turkeys for Christmas.
40 years of experience goes into producing the best turkey possible and Traditional Wirral Turkeys are only available directly from the farm and three high quality local butchers.

Wirral Black, Bronze and White turkeys are available to be the centrepiece of your Christmas dinner this year. Along with all the trimmings - gammon, sausages and bacon from Gloucester Old Spot pigs farmed at Leahurst Farm in Willaston.
Plus, a range of 'Extras' supplied by The Butcher's Wife, including stuffings and sauces, gluten-free & vegetarian options. Natural ingredients, quality and flavour are just a few of the traditional values attributed to this delicious range of homemade extras.

Picking up your turkey is an event in itself. Traditional Wirral Turkeys host collection parties from 9am to 6pm on Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd December from 9am to 6pm, when you will be treated to mince pies and a glass of sherry.
