Local resident and cycling enthusiast Brian MacDonald has rounded up a few local cycling opportunities that Neston riders may like to join in with.
Willaston / Local
A very local cycling group, suitable for beginners, meets every Tuesday from 7-9.30pm at Hadlow Road Station from 1 May to 1 September, then from the Nag's Head Pub in Willaston from 2 September to 30 April - bring good lights.
An average of 86 riders meets weekly in summer and they go off on 7-8 different speeds / distances. Contact Brian by email for more information.
Cheshire & Merseyside
A road group meets every Thursday, suitable for mature, confident riders. Moderate and brisk day rides of 40 to 80 miles. Visit http://www.chestereasyriders.co.uk/ for more information.
Rides from Eureka
Another road club, a bit easier and suitable for beginners meets every Sunday and Wednesday at 09:45 for a day ride from the Eureka Cafe on the A540 at Two Mills. See http://www.ctcchesterandnwales.org.uk/.
