A reader based in South Africa, who was born here in Neston, is looking for family members. Can you help?

Jackie Reed writes: 

I was born Jacqueline Beedles at Garth Maternity Home in Neston on the 27th February 1945.

I stayed with my mother, Mary Beedles, at No. 2 Oak Tree Cottages until I was adopted at 8 months old and spent the next 26 years in London. I then emigrated to South Africa and have lived here for the last 42 years.

After all this time I finally have my adoption file in my possession and would be interested in finding out if I have any siblings. At the time I was born I was Mary's only child.
 
I do have further information in my possession which I would prefer to discuss with a family member.

Sincere thanks to anyone who may be able to help in my search for family members.

This is getting quite exciting now. Emails and facebook messages have been pinging around in the background and it looks like there may be a happy ending to this enquiry. If all goes well, I will, with Jackie's permission, let you all know the outcome.
