If you are looking for something different for the New Year why not try your hand at Tai Chi and Qigong. You will find a friendly welcome at our local classes based at Neston Town Hall and at the United Reform Church Hall on Parkgate Road Neston. Tai Chi is one of the oldest forms of exercise based on the Chinese philosophy of Yin and Yang. The benefits include an increase in leg strength which will lead to improved balance. Breathing techniques to help with blood circulation and mental focus. Participants will very quickly feel a difference in their flexibility and overall strength.
The exercises are easy to follow as they are based on your body`s natural movements and will lead you to a more relaxed style of of dealing with aching joints and stiff muscles. The benefits to people suffering from conditions such as arthritis and muscular dystrophy will find an improvement in pain management.
Classes start on 04.01.16 at Neston town Hall from 18:00 to 19:00 and are priced at £6 per session. No joining fee is required, just turn up and register with Ian or Jan.
