Peterlee Pumas Amateur Rugby League Football Club are looking for new female players with a view to starting the first ladies Rugby League team in the North East.
The club is well established and they now run a First and Second team, as well as junior teams from under 15s down to under 9s, playing in the North East Rugby League summer season.
They have also just started a " Masters " section, for anyone aged 35+, who train and play on a Wednesday evening. Mark Watson is in charge of this group.
A girls section has also started for school years 7 to10, which is Touch Rugby, so the club is looking for families, kids, adults, grandparents, and anyone else interested to form 6-a-side teams to play friendly festivals - Heidi is responsible for this group.
The club play at Helford Road, Peterlee, County Durham, SR8 and have a new purpose-built pavilion.

In 2009, the North East Rugby League held their inaugural Summer Season and everyone involved is positive this year is going to be bigger and better. With fixtures ranging from Under 9 to Under 15 players, coaches and volunteers are all excited for a competitive and enthralling few months.
