Are you 'In The Mood' for The Three Belles?

Author: The Three Belles Published: 25th July 2012 17:06

The Three Belles will be bringing their 1940s night to St Ives Guildhall on the 10th August 2012. After the show being a hit in the Portsmouth Guildhall two years running, The Belles have decided to take it on the road!

The night consists of performances by The Three Belles vocal trio, their wonderful swing band The Bevin Boys, and Camborne Youth Band. They have also auditioned local performers to play 1940s characters and musicians for the night and have ended up with a fantastic Cornish Cast! Expect a night of music and dancing, where you will meet characters from the 1940s, drink Bovril with a soldier, sip on our themed cocktail, ‘The Search Light’, and even do a spot of shopping.

The Belles are delighted to have stalls selling vintage style goods at the entrance to the night, including cup cakes, accessories and Betty from The Three Belles will even be offering Vintage Hair styling for only £5!

You will be able to buy The Three Belles single, ‘Belles Are Swingin’ on the night, and they will also be selling their novella, ‘The Three Belles Star in “We’ll Meet Again”’. The author of which will be acting in the show and can sign copies on the night!

The show starts at 7.30pm, but you will be able to browse the stalls and get your hair styled from 6.30pm. Tickets are selling extremely fast so book them quick by visiting The Guildhall in person, or calling 01736 797840. Tickets are £15 or £13 concessions.

Come along, dress up in your finest 1940s fashion and dance the night away – better hope there’s not an air raid!
