Stagecoach Cockermouth is a lively and vibrant school that has been running successfully for over 7 years. We provide quality part-time training in the performing arts for children aged 4-18yrs. Our aim is to nurture and develop young potential through singing, acting and dance classes in Cockermouth, stretching young imaginations and building confidence. Open every weekend during term time and workshops during the school holiday, come join the fun!
At Stagecoach Cockermouth we believe it is the training and individual attention which students receive each week that makes a difference. All the students take part in regular performances for the family to enjoy and the students to display their developing skills.
Our students also take part in professional performances, most recently with the Ellen Kent International Opera at the Sands Centre, and other projects have included making their own pop DVDs and various professional workshops in Street dance, specialist make-up and Boom Dang drumming. We offer Lamda examinations, yearly performances, involvement within local events and audition opportunities through our Acting Agency.
All our tutors are professionals in their field, are fully CRB checked and have access to ongoing training. Their dedication, motivation and enthusiasm is infectious. Fun and education go hand in hand here at Stagecoach Cockermouth!
