It has been another year of academic achievement at one of the region's leading independent coeducational schools, as students enjoyed a 100 percent pass rate.
A Level students at Ockbrook School in Derbyshire achieved beyond predictions, with almost half receiving grades A* - B. Three students received outstanding results. Eighteen-year-old Louis Marchini from Breedon-on-the-Hill celebrated A grades in Art and History, grade B in Geography, plus an A* grade in his Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
Local student Alexandra Knight, 18, from Ambaston, was over the moon to achieve a grade A* in Art, grade A in Sociology and grade B in History. Sally Frankish, 18, from Borrowash, achieved grade A* in Business, grade A in Economics and grade B in Politics.
Tom Brooksby is Headmaster at Ockbrook School. He enthuses: "I am delighted to report this year's A Level results, our pupils have achieved beyond their predictions and the learning experience at Ockbrook has added significant value. The pupils and teachers can also be proud of another 100 percent pass rate."
