Guardian Homecare, which has offices in Torbay and in Exeter, is looking to hire 100 new carers to provide care to its service users this year.

Regional Manager, Katie Jewell said: "Our company has gone from strength-to-strength and because demand for care is so high our team is always expanding and we're regularly taking on new care workers to provide expert care across south Devon.

"No experience is necessary, just a willingness to care and to learn. We offer free, full training, which includes a company induction, first aid, information on dementia, health and safety, food safety, infection control, handling medication and moving and handling service users, with the opportunity to achieve industry-recognised qualifications after the initial six months probationary period.

"There are lots of opportunities for internal advancement for all our team members who show commitment, reliability and true passion. We provide a great support network for all of our carers too."

Katie and her team want to hear from kind, honest and reliable people who are considering making a career for themselves in the care industry and would like to find out more.

"We provide all our staff full paid training and shadowing before they start, and they have additional, on the job support from a local team 24/7. We give free uniforms and a national staff discount scheme for all major brands. We have jobs available in south Devon now with immediate start, no experience necessary, just a willingness to care and to learn."

It currently employs 140 carers and is searching for more honest and kind-hearted individuals to help add to its teams in the county.

Katie continued: "We are looking for new recruits to help make a difference within communities across south Devon by caring for individuals seeking extra support.

"Carers who join our team will help to provide domiciliary and live-in care as well as dementia care."
