Hi, Well it doesn't seem over 2 years since I first wrote a piece for you all, but it is. That means that the Bridging Communities project is now half way through it's first term.
We at the Bridging Communities thought it is something to celebrate, so during November, we are planning a series of events to do just that. We hope that all of you within the communities touched by the proposed regeneration, will feel able to come along and celebrate too!
On the 18th November at 7:30 pm, we are planning a Community Quiz night in the old barn part of the King Charles pub which is on Thames Street. We hope there will be lots of community teams joining us for an vening of fun. Our very own Ann Smeaton will have helped to set up some questions related to Hamworthy.
We look forwrd to seeing you there.
There will also be a service at Parkstone United Reformed Church on the 2nd November 2008 at 3:00 pm. We would love to welcome you there too and we will be launching the Living Histories Project, which prhaps I can tell you about next time.
