Free fashion-themed kids’ club coming to the Dolphin Shopping Centre

Author: Online Stories Published: 14th March 2019 12:44

The popular kids' club for pre-schoolers, Little Fins, continues with its second event of the year on Wednesday March 20 at Poole's Dolphin Shopping Centre, following a successful first session in February.

March's Little Fins will have a ‘Future of Fashion' theme. From 9.30am to 11.30am, children can enjoy soft play and interactive games and storytelling. This free session will provide various props such as two futuristic mannequins, fashion backdrops and ensure that the area is a comfortable and safe environment for the children to play in.

To fit in with the ‘Future of Fashion' theme, the youngsters will be given the opportunity to get creative by taking part in painting activities and create their own design of a top hat. These activities will be supplied with paints and colouring pens and pencils.

Little Fins is run by the award-winning Crafty Arty World and takes place in an area outside the Beales department store. Booking is not required to attend.

The shopping centre will be hosting Little Fins for parents and children every third Wednesday of the month, from February through to October 2019. Each session will include a meet and greet with a guest character, a pop-up soft play area and mini art and craft sessions.

John Grinnell, centre manager at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, commented: "Following the success of last month, we're really excited to continue our free monthly activity sessions, Little Fins. They are a perfect way to encourage young children to be creative and interact with others. These sessions are also beneficial for local parents who are getting a chance to get to know one another whilst their children play.

"There is a wide range of enjoyable activities for children to get involved in, including arts and crafts, as well as an interactive soft play area."
