Brewery Square to host local food producers market

Brewery Square in Dorchester is delighted to be pairing up with Dorset Food & Drink for its first local food producers market this October.
Taking place on Saturday, October 12 from 11am until 4pm, the square will become home to various local food producers for the day, selling a range of locally produced baked goods, wine, cheese, preserves, gin and more.
Charlotte Spracklen, centre manager at Brewery Square, said: "We are thrilled to be pairing up with the team from Dorset Food & Drink. It has always been a vision of ours to promote local food producers and starting with a food market with Dorset Food and Drink seemed like the best way to achieve this. We have a beautiful blend of traders coming to the event, which will complement our many wonderful businesses".
The food market will be one of two events of its kind held in the square this year, with the second taking place later on in the year near Christmas.
Brewery Square aim to achieve a fun and friendly atmosphere for shoppers and visitors while celebrating all that the county has to offer.
Katharine Wright from Dorset Food & Drink, commented: "We are very excited to be able to bring the people of Dorchester and surrounding areas another opportunity to source local food and drink from the County and enjoy the many flavours that are on offer."
