Little Fins, the free popular kids' club for pre-schoolers, returns on Wednesday July 17 at the Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole.
In celebration of the Dolphin's 50th anniversary this month, the kids' club for July will be themed around birthday celebrations. The shopping centre is celebrating 50 years since it officially opened in July 1969.
The free session will provide various props such as a giant birthday cake, birthday bunting and party table toppers. Children will be able to design their own bunting with fabric pens and 3D elements, as well as enjoy soft play, interactive games and storytelling from 9.30 to 11.30am.
Little Fins is run by the award-winning Crafty Arty World and takes place in an area outside the Beales department store. Booking is not required to attend.
The shopping centre hosts Little Fins sessions for parents and children every third Wednesday of the month, through to October 2019. Each session includes pop-up soft play and mini art and craft sessions, provided within a comfortable and safe environment for children to play in.
John Grinnell, centre manager at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, commented: ‘'We're very excited for our birthday-themed kids' club this month and hope to see as many children there as possible to help celebrate 50 years of the Dolphin.
"The two-hour kids' club provides parents with the perfect opportunity to encourage their little ones to get creative and interact with others. Not to mention that it also enables local parents to get to know one another while their children play.''
