Explosive and repulsive experiments in the Mad Lab
This February half term, why not take the kids to the Royal Gunpowder Mills, Beaulieu Drive, Waltham Abbey, Essex, EN9 1JY and join Professor Nitrate and his team as they create all sorts of mess and mayhem in the Mad Lab - all in the name of science of course!
We'll be exploring some rather repulsive experiments, diseases and cures from both the past and present. The Lab Rats will be on hand to help all you little horrors get stuck in with our really revolting activities and workshops, from snot to fart making this could get quite disgusting!
Turn yourself into a living science experiment with gruesome face painting and hat making to expose your brain!
With the cold weather in mind almost all the activities will be indoors; however, for you hardy lot that are keen to build and launch rockets we won't stop you, though please note this will be the only outdoor activity available from the Test Range (weather permitting). Also test your shooting skills at the indoor Nerf range located in the ‘Tower Gaol' where we keep all our other mad scientists locked up.
