"Forget Me Not" at Beverley Armed Forces Day

As part of Beverley Armed Forces Day and at the invitation of East Riding Council, this Sunday at 4.45 pm in St Mary's Church, Beverley, Richard and Neil of "Other Lives Productions" in Beverley and three talented young local performers will be presenting a tribute to the soldiers, animals, horses, bicycles and other participants in that Great War of one hundred years ago - "Forget Me Not"
Beverley Armed Forces Day - Full Programme of Events

- 11:50 - Formal Parade (setting off from North Bar
- and marching into the Market Place) with
- the Humberside Police Concert Band
- 12:00 - Drumhead Service
- 13:00 - Cherrie Lawrence - ‘Songs from the Trenches'
- 13:30 - Saint Nicholas School Choir
- 14:00 - Cherrie Lawrence - ‘Songs from the Trenches'
- 14:30 - Longcroft Gospel Choir
- 15:30 - Beverley Church Lads and Girls Brigade
- 16:00 - Gurkha Dance Troupe
- 16:45 - Commemoration Play - ‘Forget Me Not' - this will take place in Saint Mary's Church, North Bar Within.
- 18:00 - Classical Concert - Driffield Silver Band and the Beverley and District Pipe Band
- 20:00 - Event Concludes
A Battle of Britain Memorial Fly-past by a vintage Dakota will take place sometime in the afternoon. The exact time was unknown at the time of going to print, but will be announced nearer the time and on the day. However, please note that this is subject to weather conditions.
