Voluntary Action Epping Forest Befriending Scheme is a popular service for the over 65's in the Epping Forest Area. As well as individual befrienders, the project hosts 3 afternoon clubs in North Weald, Buckhurst Hill and Waltham Abbey.

The scheme is so popular, we need even more volunteers to help. You will be helping to serve tea and cakes, helping our members in and out of the hall and generally be a good alround supporter chatting and helping or participating in our many activities. We also have serveral trips out each year and extra help is always welcome.

The clubs are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
