Half-Term Fun in Essex Country Parks
Essex Country Parks have a range of fun family events planned for May half-term - all of which are listed at www.visitparks.co.uk.
County Councillor Mick Page, deputy to the Cabinet Member for Libraries, Communities and Planning, said: "These fun events aim to help people be active and healthy. In a recent Essex Country Parks survey, 86 per cent of parents with children aged 18 or under agreed that children should be playing outdoors more, and 69 per cent said their child or children currently don't get enough exercise. Let's get outdoors and enjoy some great events."

Did You Know? Amazing Animal Trail, Thorndon Country Park (South)
Pick up a guide from the Pavilion Café and explore the woods enjoying the animal facts. Costs £3 per trail guide.

Spring Trail, Belhus Woods Country Park
Follow clues to guide yourself around the park. Costs £1 for adults and children.
24 May - 1 June
Mystery Footprints, Weald Country Park
Follow the mystery footprints around the park. £3 per trail guide.
27 May
Knights, Princesses and Dragons Adventure, Cressing Temple

31 May - 1 June
Family Camping, Hadleigh Country Park
